Color Me Green Dash

WHEN: April 24, 2016 (rain day May 1, 2016)
WHERE: began at north end of Burkhart Creek County Park

The Morgan County 4-H Council will sponsor a “Color me Green Dash” fun run on April 24, 2016, with registration at 2 p.m. and race beginning at 3 p.m. This is a fundraiser for the 4-H Council and an awareness-raiser for good health and involvement with the park system.

A color run is different from other runs, because at designated points along the way, people stand on both sides of the track and throw colored corn starch into the air and it lands on the runners’ white shirts, making a tie-dyed-looking shirt by the end of the event. It is suggested that participants wear sunglasses and hats. No one keeps a timer officially. People just run and get “colored” for fun. The color is biodegradable and non-toxic. There will be a tie-dye party following the run.
