Old Town Waverly Park

The 55-acre Old Town Waverly County Park is located in a floodplain at the site of historic downtown Waverly. This is the oldest village in the county. Founded in 1837, Waverly sprung up as a product of the construction of the Central Canal linking Indianapolis with Newberry in Greene County. Burkhart Creek County Park

Burkhart Creek County Park is an 83 acre parcel of land that was donated by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources with deed restrictions that essentially require the property to be used as a natural, low impact park for county residents. Read more about this park. Read more >>
